Welcome!

Because of my interest in the history of California and Nevada, I've spent quite a lot of time photographing the ruins of the Bodie and Aurora ghost towns, stage stations and forts that served and protected the miners and settlers, and restored steam trains from the Virginia and Truckee Railroad.Some of the images on this site of those subjects are unavailable anywhere else.

I also was lucky enough to capture some spectacular images of the national parks in Southern Utah and northern Arizona this past summer.To round out the collection, I present my images of Australia, New England, and the Sierras and Coast in California. Click on Galleries .
